Marlee and Chris had been eagerly awaiting their wedding day, and when it finally arrived, it was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Marlee looked stunning in her Azazie gown, while Chris was dashing in his navy tuxedo. The bridesmaids added their own unique flair with pastel pink, sage, and lavender attire, perfectly complementing the wedding's minimalist pastel decor.
Despite a little drizzle, we captured Marlee's portraits indoors, with Chris patiently waiting in the stairwell, following the tradition of not seeing the bride before the ceremony. Laughter echoed through the halls as the bridesmaids overheard the guys having fun during the photos.
The ceremony itself was short and sweet, with Marlee and Chris both being walked down the aisle by their parents. They wanted a secular service, they exchanged quick vows, sealing their love for each other.
Outside Cranford Social, the breathtaking view of the Rahway River provided a perfect backdrop for more portraits. We were excited to hear of the ponies on-site, and we were thrilled to capture some adorable moments with them, adding an extra touch of magic to the day.
In a nod to Star Wars Day, the entrances were made with lightsabers, and the first dance was to Taylor Swift's "Lover,".
After dinner was served, the dance floor came alive with friends and family, celebrating to classic party tunes.
After cutting cake, we snuck away to capture some breathtaking night shots inside the outdoor tent of River and Rail, where twinkling lights provided a romantic backdrop for the newlyweds.
It was a truly magical wedding, and as a photographer based in Cranford, I felt honored to capture every special moment at the fantastic venue of Cranford Social. Marlee and Chris's love story came to life in front of my lens, and I couldn't be prouder to have been a part of their special day.
