I call my style relaxed natural light (ish).. Meanings that I love using natural light and the light from the environment I'm in, but if the light is not flatting for my subject, I do not hesitate to pull out a flash. I also try to put my subjects into natural poses and poses that fit their personality and body type.
I shoot everything on high end DSLRs. They all have two slot for SD cards in case one of them does not work. I also back up my images on my computer and external right away. Then I upload to my cloud storage. I never have only 1 copy of your images.
I am covered for up to $1 million in liability insurance. Many venues won’t even let the photographer through the door unless they are fully insured. Let me know in advance if you require a proof of liability insurance in advance of the event.
I typically provide on average 40-100 images for every hour of a wedding. If you had an 8 hour wedding expect 400-1000+ images on average. It depends on how the day flows. If there's a lot of action and dancing- I will shoot it, but if there's mostly people eating or casually talking- I will politely keep my camera down after a few shots. All the photos will color balanced and digitally processed for printing.
Yes, I have experience in many fields of photography. I love families and babies along with weddings. Contact me and we'll set up something fun to capture your family memories, or give you the professional image you need to succeed
I buy all professional camera equipment. All my lenses have an f-stop of f/2.8 or wider. This allows more light into the lens and camera. I also have several lights I can fire off camera to make sure I can light any type of location. Even if you decide to marry in a cave, I know I can light it.
I organize, hand edit all the files to perfection, and back up everything from your wedding. All of this is very time consuming. Contractually all delivered in three months, but often I strive to deliver them sooner and have never so far needed the whole three months time.
When you receive your images, they will be in your own personal online gallery. From there you can easily order prints and wall art pieces. Your photos are printed in a professional high end photo lab and shipped to your home. Also you have the option of downloading the files yourself and printing them at a place of your choice.
Yes, but at an additional cost. Please inquire. I generally recommend using one for weddings over 250 people or when you have a several particular images you need on your wedding day.
Absolutely. I strongly believe in those family images, as they're records of your entire family at an important time in their history together. About a month before your wedding I'll send you a questionnaire covering the details of the day and among the other questions is a list of posed images. You'll have space to write in your own groupings. I do recommend no more than 12-13 group photos to keep spirits up and not bore your loved ones. These groupings are quick, easy, and I try to make them pleasant and enjoyable for everyone involved!
I'm so sorry, but be fair to everyone I can't "hold" a date without a retainer and a signed contract. I accept bookings on a first come/first served basis. I will informally "pencil in" a date and try to keep you informed about it. But I am not legally bound to give it to you without a contract and deposit made.
I book weddings up to 18 months in advance. I book family photos up to 6 months in advance Monday-Thursday days, and 2 months in advance for Friday Saturday and Sunday
Absolutely! I get asked this often by clients. I never expect someone who isn't a professional model to be able to pose beautifully. I shoot with an easy style and do natural poses. I make sure that you look great in all your photos. Some people take a little longer to warm up, and in those cases I make sure that you feel comfortable and relaxed while I am shooting. These are nothing like your high school yearbook photos. I promise, I make it painless and fun, and you will look AMAZING
