Prya and Brandon met right before the 2020 pandemic and most of their usual activities weren’t safe to do. In lieu of them, they decided to get a membership to the New York Botanical Gardens. Every week they went together and grew their relationship. They enjoyed seeing the gardens change with the seasons and it gave them a place to enjoy the nice weather when possible. When they became in engaged they started the wedding planning process and decided to elope in the New York Botanical Gardens. We spent about two hours in the New York Botanical Gardens seeing what was in bloom to make a great background. I made sure to bring off camera lighting to give them more dimension and less shadow on their faces. We ended up with beautiful photographs of a special day for a couple who had the luck of eloping at their favorite location in New York City
